Fresh reports reaching us now reveal that at least 60 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have allegedly been arrested and detained by suspected operatives of the DSS.
A security source confirmed to TODAY.NG that over 60 APC members randomly picked last night by both soldiers, DSS operatives and the police are currently being held at the DSS facility in Osogbo.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Sahilu and Sunday Dare were freed after a female DSS director who may have recognized them ordered their release. Not one PDP member according to the source is among those confirmed held in the facility.
The Osun State Commissioner for Justice, Samuel Adewale Afolabi was also arrested but his whereabouts could not be ascertained as at press time.
In other news, INEC has allegedly withheld tags meant for APC election agents, giving out less than 45% of approved numbers.
